Sad to say, my butterfly garden was not very impressive this year. The only visitors that came on a regular basis were my hummers and wasps. I was experimenting with different camera settings using these wasps/hornets as my subjects. They were attracted to the sugar water that was spilled and dried up on the deck railing.
They look like they have installed armour plating.
